Your Hosts at Grandvue Estate - the B & B at Mangawhai
Your hosts, Ross and Ann have an extensive local knowledge of the area and would be happy to help you make the most of your NZ holiday experience.
We enjoy having the family and grandkids come to stay when they can.
We have a mutual interest in Model A cars, and are members of the Nth Is. Model A club
We currently own a 1930 Fordor Sedan which is frequently utilized for weddings. The rebuilding of a 1930 Model A roadster is Ross's current project.
Ross is a good keen man and very qualified mechanic, Ann’s a keen and willing driver, pretty good at that, but knows nothing about how they work.
Ross, a builder by trade, loves to spend time pottering in the nearby "Blokes’ Shed", or time permitting enjoys playing golf, boating and fishing, and has also rediscovered the art of fine homebrew.
Both Ross and Ann are reasonable golfers and are members of the Mangawhai Golf Course.
Ann is an avid photographer and has been a long-time member of both Henderson Photographic Society and PSNZ, and gained "Licentiate" honours in 2009.
Portraiture/weddings are firm favourites but also enjoying artistic impressionist photography.
She also enjoys cooking, music, gardening, sewing, skincare and makeup and time permitting, painting.
Also a regular volunteer for "Look Good Feel Better".
We have an elderly miniature schnauzer called Whitney who will be keen to welcome you, and also a loveable tabby and white cat called Husky.
